Jamal Terry Anderson

Jamal Terry Anderson, 51, of Keokuk, IA died Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at his home.

He was born September 3, 1971 the son of Percy Burt and Candice Tate Anderson.

Jamal graduated from Ft. Madison High School. He was employed by Casey's where he worked in the kitchen.

He was a member of the Apostolic Holiness Church in Keokuk.

He enjoyed riding his bike and walking. Jamal was always on the lookout for things to fix up and resell. He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers and Iowa Hawkeye fan.

Jamal is survived by his children, Tara Anderson of Keokuk, IA, Jamal Anderson Jr. of Burlington, IA, Jacob Haynes of Colorado Springs, CO, Lisa Anderson and Saphara Anderson both of Keokuk, IA, one sister, Dawn Harris of Keokuk, IA, one grandchild, one niece, Gaberial and one nephew, Jeffery.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Candice Anderson.

A memorial service was held 10 a.m. Friday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with Pastor Malloy officiating.

After the service, there was a gathering at Rand Park.
