Jack L. Stevens 31, of Keokuk, IA, was found on March 16, 2011 in the Mississippi River in Lincoln County, Missouri. He was born on March 17, 1979, in Kirksville, MO, the son of James Henry Sr. and Janet May Weekley Stevens. Jack worked as a farmhand for Paul Seabold and Raymond Dresser. Jack liked to fish, hunt and ride three and four wheelers in his free time. He enjoyed life, family members and many friends. He is survived by his parents, one son, Cole Stevens of Keokuk, IA, three sisters, Cathy Wright and her husband Tim of Russell, IA, Nancy Dilley and her husband John of Keokuk, IA and Linda Flesher and her husband Geoff of Chariton, IA, two brothers, James Stevens of Keokuk, IA and Eric Saunders and his significant other, Mandy Couchman of Keokuk, IA, special grandmother, Joan Seabold of Keokuk, IA and seven nieces and seven nephews. He was preceded in death by his special grandfather, Paul Seabold. Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2011 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA. Burial was in the Beuna Vista Cemetery in rural Keokuk, IA. Memorials may be made to his family.
