Hugo Vernon Anderson was born on June 28, 1920 in Davenport, IA the son of Hugo W. and Eliza Mae Woods Anderson. On July 12, 1942 Hugo was united in marriage to Stephanie Terese "Maxine" Maksymiuk, Hugo graduated from Davenport High School with the Class of 1938. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during WW II. Mr. Anderson was employed by F. A. Dunn & Sons in Keokuk, IA. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Keokuk, IA. He loved to visit with people. Hugo Vernon Anderson died Sunday, September 18, 2005 at Lexington Square in Keokuk, IA at the age of 85. He is survived by one daughter, Sandra Kelly and her husband, Timothy Ward Kelly of Keokuk, IA, one son Randall Anderson of Keokuk, IA, two granddaughters that he was very close to: Ivy Jo Richardson and Jessica Rae Morss of Acworth, GA. He was preceded him in death by his wife Maxine in 1990. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
