Obituary

Howard Allen Lounsbury, 91, of Williamstown, MO died Thursday, July 14, 2005 at his home. He was born September 20, 1913 in Great Valley, New York, a son of John and Dollie Daniels Lounsbury. He married Agnes Effie Mason on December 28, 1931 in Great Valley, NY. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Batina Finch and her husband Charles of Randolph, NY and Fern (Sandy) Riemann and her husband Don of Wyaconda, MO, one son, Howard Lounsbury, Jr. and his wife Mary of Falconer, NY, 19 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four children, Anna, Carol, Edward, and Dora Mae, three sisters, and six brothers. Howard was of the Catholic faith. He was raised in New York, later moving around the United States, taking several different types of jobs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, carpentry, and woodworking. Memorial services were held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2005 at the Providence Baptist Church in Williamstown, MO with Pastor Dwight Snead officiating.
