Helen F. Hallford, 85 of Keokuk, IA entered her heavenly home on Thursday, November 8, 2012. She was born on May 8, 1927 in Romney,West Virgina the daughter of Ernest Marvin and Susan Belle Speelman Miller. Helen was best known in the community for her care of the elderly and her love of flowers. She was a member of Calvary Foursquare Church. She had resided at River Hills Village in Keokuk for nearly 3 years. She is survived by one daughter, Martha House and her husband Eldin of Hagerstown, MD, one son, Joseph Hallford and his wife Nancy of Hagerstown, one granddaughter, Mandy Jo Fooce, three great-grandchildren, Aleia Fooce, Austin Fooce and Alexandra House, two sisters, Alice McNamar of Memphis, MO and Ethel "Molly" Seabold and her husband Roy of Keokuk, two brothers, Ernest Wilbur Miller and his wife Kathy of Rogers, AR and Harry Miller and his wife June of LaHarpe, IL, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Allen House, one sister, Esther Galliher and one brother, August Miller. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Pastor Dan Davis and Pastor Harry Miller officiating. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk. Memorials may be made to the Calvary Foursquare Church.
