Harold Glen Garrison

Harold "Glen" Garrison, 89 of Wyaconda, MO died Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the Clark County Nursing Home in Kahoka.

He was born January 31, 1934 in Knox County, Missouri the son of Emerald Glenn and Rebecca Ann Aldridge Garrison.

Harold proudly served his county in the United States Army enlisting July 18, 1956 and was honorably discharged on April 25, 1958.

On June 12, 1976, he was united in marriage to Wanda Ballew at the Wyaconda Methodist Church. She preceded him

in death on July 9, 2017.

Harold had been employed with MFA in Wyaconda and Memphis from 1968 until his retirement in 1996.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews and good friends, Ellen Beames and Gale Purchase, Jr. of Wyaconda.

Besides his wife he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Glenna Ann Garrison, Goldie Purvis, Irene Hyde, Enid Brookhart and Darlene Steeples.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday November 29 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka with Pastor Rex Link officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in the Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at the funeral home with family meeting with friends at that time.

Memorials may be made to the Fairmont Cemetery.
