Glen Edgar Brown 79, of Kahoka, MO and of Mission, TX died Thursday, June 13, 2013 at his home in Mission, Texas. He was born September 28, 1933 in Argyle, IA the son of Oscar and Lillian Branson Brown. On May 24, 1952 he was united in marriage to Anne Kilkenny in Las Vegas, NV. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Tony Brown and his wife Debby of Kahoka, MO and Neil Brown and his wife Jennette of Argyle, IA, four grandsons, Jeff Brown and Brandy, Byron Brown and Crystal, Matthew Brown and Adam Brown-Sutton, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Alan Brown, two sisters, Helen Roberts and Betty Taylor and two brothers, Ray Brown and Kenneth Brown. Glen graduated from the Luray High School in Luray, MO with the Class of 1951. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and dedicated to serving his country. Glen was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Keokuk, IA and the Wyaconda Lion's Club. Glen enjoyed traveling and loved to spend the winter in Texas. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 20th 2013 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, MO. Burial was in the Kahoka Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Clark County Nutrition Center.
