Florence G. Hennings

Florence G. Hennings, 90 of Ft. Madison, IA died Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the Donnellson Health Care Center in Donnellson, IA. She was born May 21, 1924 in Keokuk the daughter of Calvin and Nina Haney Hennings. Florence had been employed at Northwestern Bell Company as an operator in Keokuk and Ft. Madison for thirty-nine years. She was a former member of the Santa Fe Methodist Church in Ft. Madison. She is survived by one sister, Winifred Koch of Donnellson, IA, several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Florence was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother. A graveside service was held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 30th 2014 at the Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk with Reverend Missy Brown officiating. Memorials may be made to The Keningston Activity Department in Ft. Madison.
