Fern "Sandy" Joyce Riemann, 73, of Wyaconda, died Saturday, August 9, 2014 at her home in Wyaconda. She was born April 19, 1941 in Arcade, New York the daughter of Howard Allen and Agnes Effie Mason Lounsbury. On April 14, 1960 she was united in marriage to Donald George Riemann in Kingston, Georgia. He survives. Other survivors include her mother, Agnes Lounsbury of Wyaconda, two sons, Donald Riemann, Jr. of St. Louis and Gary Riemann and his wife Lucita of North Little Rock, Arkansas, one daughter Sheryl Lynn Ray and her husband Kirk of St. Louis, eight grandchildren, Matthew Riemann, Ashley Riemann, Joshua Roth and his fiancé Kristie Konersmann, Shelby Roth Johns and her husband Eric, Nick Riemann, Grace Ray, Arturo Riemann and Giovanni Riemann, with a great grandchild on the way, one sister Batina Finch and her husband Charles of Randolf, NY along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, three sisters, Dora Mae Burch, Anna Lounsbury and Carol Lounsbury and two brothers Howard Lounsbury, Jr. and Edward Lounsbury. Sandy enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, canning and finding treasures at garage sales. According to her wishes she has been cremated. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka is assisting the family with arrangements.
