Esther Mary Clark, 92, of Montrose, IA died Monday, July 26, 2010 at the Ft. Madison Community Hospital in Ft. Madison, IA. She was born on April 22, 1918 in Bellevue, IA, the daughter of Henry and Lizzie Schulte Kueter. On October 3, 1937, Esther was united in marriage to Ralph E. Clark in Bellevue, IA. He preceded her in death on July 21, 2001. Esther graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School in Bellevue, IA with the Class of 1936. She had been employed at Sheaffer Pen in Ft. Madison, IA. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Montrose, IA. Esther enjoyed quilting, crocheting, baking and playing euchre. Esther is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Russow of Tampa, FL, Janet Marie Griffin and her partner Pat Haynes of Pekin, IL and Ruth Elaine Stockbridge and her husband Tom of Burlington, IA one son, Alfred Ralph Clark and his wife Lana of Montrose, IA, five grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one son, Joey, one daughter, Esther Irene Douglas, one brother, Edward Kueter and one sister, Anna Miller. A private family service will be held at a later date.
