Earl Steven "Steve" Otto, 72 of Keokuk, IA died Monday, September 5, 2022 at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington, IA.

He was born February 8, 1950 in Nevada, IA the son of Earl and Anna Hapes Otto.

Steve graduated from Nevada High School in Nevada, IA and Lincoln Tech Automotive Institute.

He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Keokuk.

Steve had been self employed as a mechanic for many years.

He is survived by one sister, Kay Baumgartner (Doug), his girlfriend, Ada Clark and one uncle, Virgil Hapes (Marion), two nieces and five nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son in infancy, Steven Otto, one sister, Mary "Jayne" Bullock and one brother-in-law, Paul Bullock.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. on September 16, 2022, at All Saints Catholic Church in Keokuk, IA with Reverend David Brownfield, Ph.D. officiating.

Memorials may be made to Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice.
