Dorothy Dyke Pero Brown, 85, of Seymour, MO, formerly of Kahoka, MO, died Saturday, December 5, 2009 at the Glenwood Healthcare in Seymour, MO. She was born April 5, 1924 in Enfield, New Hampshire, the daughter of Allen A and Minnie Parker Dyke. She was united in marriage to Loren M Pero on April 21, 1946. He preceded her in death February 10 1980. She was then married to Rodney Brown October 28, 1990, in Kahoka, Mo. He preceded her in death in Nov 2002. She was a member of the Peaksville Christian Church, in Peaksville, MO. Later she was a member of the Assembly of God, in Labelle, Mo. While in New Hampshire she was a member of the PTA. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and needlework. She worked for many years in the Peterborough Ball Bearing factory, in Peterborough, NH. Dorothy leaves behind two daughters, Brenda Gerry and her husband Darrel of Glennallen, Alaska and Shirley Paquette and her husband Francis of Hancock NH, two sons, Franklin Pero of Mountain Grove MO, and Calvin Pero and his wife Linda of Mountain Grove, MO, two sisters, Bejay St. Francis of Onalaska, TX, and Donna Shattuck of Grantham NH, a brother, Allen D. Dyke and his wife Sherron of Cabool, MO, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Gene and Earl, and one sister, Evelyn. Dorothy will be laid to rest in the Greenvale Cemetery, Greenfield, NH, next to Loren Pero where the family will have graveside services at a later date. There will be no visitation.
