Dorothy "Dot" Faye Morris, 80, of Burlington, IA formerly Lockridge, IA died Saturday, November 5, 2005 at her home. She was born February 15, 1925 in Atlanta, MO the daughter of Otis and Lora Lyda Harrison. She first married George Morris in 1942 in Kahoka, MO. He preceded her in death in 1982. She then married Max Baumgartner on July 23, 1984 in Fairfield, IA. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Donna Bowman of Memphis, TN, one son, Mitchell Wayne Morris of Burlington, IA, ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two sisters, Adra Shipley of Burlington, IA and Marjorie Hourihan of Mt. Pleasant, IA. She was also preceded in death by one daugther, Connie Muschamp on July 11, 2005, one brother and two sisters. Dorothy lived most of her life in the St. Louis area and was employed by the Monsanto Co. and in 1983 moved to Lockridge, IA and was employed by the Jefferson County Home until she retired in 1989. She attended church in Moscow Mills, MO and enjoyed going camping. There were no services or visitation according to her wishes. A Memorial was established for the American Cancer Society.
