Doris June Lieurance, 83, of Keokuk, IA, died Friday, October 4, 2013 at River Hills Village in Keokuk, IA. She was born on May 1, 1930 in Niota, IL, the daughter of Archie and Evelyne McPeake Marsden. She married Bill Lieurance in 1965 and he preceded her in death. She had been employed at Gleasons in Ft. Madison, IA and retired in 1995. Doris was a member of Women of the Moose. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles. Doris loved her cats and was always willing to take in a stray and care for it. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Payton of Keokuk, two sons, Joe Stiles of Keokuk and David Davidson of Iowa, eight grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and one sister, Erla Mae Ulner of the Quad Cities. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, one grandson, three sisters and two brothers. According to her wishes there will be no services.
