Donna Louise Price, 77, of Keokuk died Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Keokuk Area Hospital.
Donna was born on July 1, 1938 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of Ray Virgil and Emma Viola Shoemaker Wyrick. On April 28, 1978 Donna was united in marriage to Gerald Wayne Price in Hamilton, IL. He survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Nancy Jones of Woodriver, IL, two sisters, Diana Meyers of Keokuk, and Dixie Hastings (Rick) of Keokuk, four grandchildren, Danny Kay (Jen) of Peoria, IL Erica Roberts of Keokuk, Nicole Ham (Roland) of Phoenix, AZ and Adam Jones of Woodriver, IL, five great-grandchildren, Kayla Martinez, Klover Roberts, Margo Ham, Kaya Jones and Isaac Jones and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Wanda Kay, one son, Danny Kay, one grandson, Josh Jones and one brother in infancy, Donald Ray Wyrick.
Donna was employed at Trellex Morse in Keokuk until her retirement in 2000.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Keokuk.
Donna was a skilled seamstress and made her own mumu dresses and toys for the kids. She enjoyed embroidering tea towels and pillowcases. Donna was gifted in music and had a beautiful voice and enjoyed playing the bass guitar and drums. She adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
According to Donna's wishes, there will be no services.
Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk is assisting the family with the arrangements.
