Donna J. Norman, 74, of Keosauqua, IA, formerly of Fairfield, IA, died Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren in Keosauqua, IA. She was born on July 25, 1935 in Hannibal, MO, the daughter of Kenneth and Ruth Boltz. She married Bernard K. Norman on August 2, 1953 in Red Oak, IA. He preceded her in death on December 5, 1994. Donna owned and operated D & W Antiques and had shops in Batavia and Agency. She also sold antiques privately in Fairfield, IA and throughout southeast Iowa. Donna was a hard worker, building up her antique business, and becoming known as an expert in antique jewelry and dolls. She is survived by two sons, Dennis Norman of Ames, IA and Robert V. Norman of Missouri, one brother, Kenneth Boltz, Jr. of Independence, MO and a friend who helped care for her, Pam Corrick of Fairfield, IA. She was also preceded in death by one son, Donald Allen Norman, one daughter, Rebecca Jacobson, one brother, Jerry Boltz and a very special friend, Wayne Pickerell. Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 16 at the Keokuk National Cemetery with Reverend Geoff Mitchell officiating. Memorials may be made to the family.
