View video tribute Donna Sue Nelson, 45, of Revere, MO died Saturday, May 6, 2006 at the Keokuk Area Hospital, Keokuk, IA. She was born in Keokuk, IA on September, 18, 1960 the daughter of Robert and Ruby (Judy) Byrn Smith. Donna was a lifelong resident of Revere, MO and had been employed as a C.N.A. Med. Tech. She enjoyed collecting Indians. Donna was a loving mother and grandmother and cherished the time she spent with her family. Donna is survived by one daughter, Holly Hendricks and her special friend Jason Murphy of Kahoka, MO, a granddaughter, Nikayla Gibson of Brookfield, MO, a grandson, Shane Murphy of Kahoka, MO, her father, Robert Smith of Warsaw, IL, seven sisters, Judy Kleine and her husband John of Williamstown, MO, Sharon Kerfoot and her husband Jim of Williamstown, MO, Tina Stewart of Kahoka, MO, Theresa Smith of Kansas City, MO, Carol Clay and her husband Larry of Unionville, MO, Karin Clay and her husband Roger of Unionville, MO, and Tracie Orton of Luray, MO, two brothers, Robbie Smith and his wife Brenda of Luray, MO and Danny Smith and his wife Tisha of Revere, MO, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby (Judy) Smith, grandparents, Joseph and Marie Smith and Monroe and Alice Irene Byrn. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at the Southern Baptist Church in Wayland, MO with Rev. Dan Steinbeck officiating. Burial was in the Union Cemetery, Scotland County, MO. Visitation was held after 1 p.m. Monday with family meeting with friends from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
