Donna Jean Jones, 66 of Keokuk, IA died Monday, October 10, 2022 at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in Ft. Madison, IA.

She was born February 20, 1956 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of Donald Ray and Betty Jean Mead Jones. Donna graduated from Central Lee High School with the class of 1974.

Donna had been employed by Gleason in Ft. Madison for ten years and later as a bartender at Eagle's Nest and Franklin Tap.

Donna enjoyed bowling, listening to live music and dancing. She also enjoyed traveling and going on car rides. Donna was a people person and loved having a good time with her friends.

She is survived by two daughters, Miranda Jones and Marlana Jones both of Bennett, IA, three grandchildren, Haley Jones, Emmit Garrelts and Cole Garrelts and one great-grandson, Jesse Glasgow. She is also survived by her mother, Betty Jones of Keokuk, one uncle, Gerald Mead (Sue) of Montrose, IA, three cousins, Barb Beaird, John Jones and Amy Jones Savage all of Keokuk and a close friend, Ronnie Philp of Ft. Madison, IA.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Marly Mae Jean Jones, her father, five aunts and her grandmother, Barbara Estella Mae Mead.

A Gathering of Remembrance was held on October 15, 2022, from 1-3 p.m. at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with family meeting with friends at that time.
