Donald Lee Wilsey, 66, of Keokuk, IA, died Monday, November 26, 2007 at Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA. He was born on April 28, 1941 in Keokuk, IA, the son of Marvin and Ruby Benjamin Wilsey. He first married Norma Shearer on February 18, 1962 in Kahoka, MO. He married Jackie Harrison on July 25, 1991 in Carthage, IL. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Steve Wilsey and his wife Deanne of Ft. Madison, IA, Sam Wilsey and his wife Holly of Colorado, one daughter Charlotte Catlin and her husband Dan of Michigan, nine grandchildren, Jessie Wilsey, Justin Wilsey, Tyler Clinging, Dustin Christenson, Nathanial Wilsey, Seth Wilsey, Zach Gaylord, Grace Catlin and Aubree Catlin, one great-grandchild, Hunter Wilsey, two sisters, Darlene Sevey of Keokuk, IA, and Barb Hooper of Quincy, IL, four brothers, Robert Wilsey and his wife Bette Rose of Keokuk, IA, Bernard Wilsey and his wife Carol of Keokuk, Carl Wilsey & his wife Karen of Kahoka, MO and James Wilsey Sr. and his wife Cherie of Keokuk and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Alan Lee Wilsey. Donald had been employed by Iowa Gateway in Keokuk. Following his retirement he enjoyed living in Marshall, Arkansas for two years. He was a member of the Family Worship Center in Keokuk. He enjoyed junking and scraping and was an avid recycler. He loved being outdoors hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed auto racing and had raced stock cars in his younger years. His favorite indoor hobby was working on jigsaw puzzles. Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 29 at the Kahoka Cemetery in Kahoka, MO with Pastor Bill Hayes officiating.
