Donald Wayne Cline, 67, of Keokuk, IA, died Friday, September 22, 2017 at Unity Point Hospital-Keokuk.
He was born on December 15, 1949 in Keokuk, IA, the son of A. Wayne and Lois Elaine
(Dresser) Cline. He graduated from Keokuk High School with the Class of 1967.
Donald was a veteran of the United States Air Force and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War and was also stationed in Korea.
Donald was united in marriage to Donna Guel in 1972 in Keokuk, IA. She survives.
He is also survived by one son, Alan Cline of Keokuk, one daughter, Kimberly Washburne of Keokuk, four grandchildren, Jasmine and Jeremy Boudewyn, Ethan Washburne and Madison Brown, a sister, Mary Cline Landwehr (Mike) of Keokuk and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Vicki Cline and his grandparents.
Donald had been employed at Sheller Globe/BTR in Keokuk for 30 years until he became disabled due to an accident.
He attended Montrose Trinity United Methodist Church and had been a member of the Explorers Club in high school.
He enjoyed being on the computer, playing video games and shopping online. He also enjoyed operating radio controlled cars and boats, working on go-carts and watching car races. He had collected Ty Beanie Babies for several years and enjoyed finding new ones to add to his collection.
Graveside services with military rites were held at 2 pm Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the Keokuk National Cemetery with Pastor Dave Barrett officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Montrose Trinity United Methodist Church or the Keokuk Animal Services.
