Dolores Rita Wadden, 78 of Keokuk, IA died October 14, 2012 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA. She was born June 18, 1934 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of Martin and Irene C. Lambert Washburn. On July 4, 1951 she was united in marriage to Harold Thomas Wadden in Keokuk, IA. He preceded her in death on July 16, 1978. Dolores worked as a sale clerk at Woolworth Department Store in Keokuk. She loved spending time with her family. She was a faithful fan of all her grandchildren's school and sport activities. She is survived by two sons, Harold "Joe" and Audrey Wadden of Keokuk, IA and Thomas and Debra Wadden of Keokuk, IA, five grandchildren, Sara Wadden and companion Robin Wood of Keokuk, IA, Samantha Bowers and her husband Jason of Pleasant Hill, IL, Lindsey Roe and her husband Brandon of Hamilton, IL, Shawn Mueller and his wife Christine of Henderson, NV and Melissa Homewood of Keokuk, IA , thirteen great-grandchildren, Jordan, Austin, Jaelyn, Kendall, Madison, Hana, Jarin, Tyler, Parker, Danielle, Hailey, Abby and Ada, six sisters, Kate Boltz and her husband Robert of Keokuk, IA, Sharon Cockrell of Keokuk, IA, Ilene Robertson of Keokuk, IA, Shelia Kay and her husband John of Keokuk, IA, Vivian Mahoney of Keokuk, IA and Shirley Dodge and her husband Kenneth "Sonny" of Hamilton, IL and two brothers, Keith Washburn and his wife Diane of Keokuk, IA and Pat Washburn and his wife Sandra of Des Moines, IA. She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Anthony, Glen, Carl, John and one in infancy, two sisters, Ruth and Lucille and one great-grandson, Kole Wood. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 18, 2012 at All Saints Catholic Church in Keokuk, IA with Father Mark Spring officiating. Burial was in the Keokuk National Cemetery in Keokuk, IA. Memorials may be made to All Saints Catholic Church in Keokuk, IA.
