Derick Joseph Kitavarada, infant son of Brenda Lee "Peanutt" Kitavarada and Colby Matthew Manning of Keokuk, IA, died at birth on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA. He is survived by his parents, maternal grandmother, Tammy Kitavarada of Keokuk, IA, maternal grandfather, Tommy Lee Chey of Des Moines, IA, paternal grandmother Deanna Sullivan of Keokuk, IA, maternal great-grandparents, Rick and Sue Burgess of Keokuk, IA, paternal great-grandmother, Janice Kirchner of Keokuk, IA, maternal great-great-grandmother, Mildred Burgess of Keokuk, IA, paternal great-great grandmother, Elsie Newlan of Keokuk, IA, two maternal uncles, Joseph Kitavarada and Brandon Burgess, one maternal aunt, Stephanie Kitavarada, two paternal uncles, Chris Sullivan and Jole Londrie, two paternal aunts, Chelsey Manning and Jana Kirchner and his godmother and great-aunt, Brenda Burgess Derick was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Steve Kirchner, and his paternal great-grandparents, Charlotte Peterson and Dane Wiele. Graveside services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 16th 2011 at the Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk, IA with Pastor Robin Korschgen officiating.
