Dennis Raymond Beggs, 69, of Burlington, Iowa died December 28, 2015 at the Great River Hospice House in Burlington, Iowa. He was born August 4, 1946 in Burlington, IA the son of Raymond and Arlene Stigge Beggs. On February 3, 1979, he was united in marriage to Deborah Miskovic. She survives. He is also survived by his daughter; Charlene Beggs, his son; Travis Beggs, his step mom; Mary Beggs, four granddaughters; Valerie, Samantha, Arianna and Brenna, four brothers; Kevin McCannon, Marc Beggs, Chris Beggs, and Rick Beggs, two sisters; Linda Ballard and Cindy Robinson, two special brothers in law and their wives, Bill (Terri) Miskovic and Alan (Amber) Miskovic, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son; Shawn Hendricks Beggs, a daughter in infancy, Sabrina and one sister in infancy, Catherine. Dennis retired from Mississippi Bakery in 2008. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching John Wayne movies. Most of all he loved being with his family. A memorial service for Mr. Beggs will be held Thursday, December 31 at 3 pm at Union Baptist Church, 220 S Central Ave, Burlington, IA. Visitation will be held from 2 pm until the time of service at the church with the family meeting with friends at that time. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Vigen Memorial Home, 1328 Concert St, Keokuk, IA 52632. The Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk is assisting the family with arrangements.
