Delta Mae Davis, 60, of Keokuk, IA died Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA. She was born June 8, 1946 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of Earl and Darlene Stark Davis. Delta was a graduate of the Keokuk Senior High with the Class of 1964. She was a member of the New Testament Christian Church in Keokuk, IA. In 2006 she had just completed schooling at Southeastern Community College to be a Medical Transcriptionist. Delta enjoyed going fishing, quilting and reading, especially Stephen King novels. She was a loving mother and grandmother and cherished the time she spent with them. She is survived by a companion of 25 years, Terry Vradenburg of Keokuk, IA, one daughter Doris Burk and her husband David of Keokuk, IA, one son, Arthur Huston and his wife Tiffany of Warsaw, IL, step-father, Kenneth Hayden of Keokuk, IA, three sisters, Darla Fader and her husband Rick of Lisbon, IA, Earlene Weiss and her husband Brian of Burlington, IA, Aletha Vradenburg and her husband Roger of Keokuk, IA, one brother, Monte Hayden and his wife Cheryl of Amarillo, TX, one grandson, Sean Burk of Keokuk, IA and a granddaughter, Jazlynn Huston of Warsaw, IL, , and a very good friend, Marline Gabbert of Keokuk, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Park, Keokuk, IA.
