Deloris Wollam

Deloris Wollam, 91, of Kahoka, Missouri died Friday, September 13, 2019 at the Clark County Nursing Home in Kahoka. She was born May 11, 1928, the daughter of James and Hazel Cargill Riffle in Revere, MO. On March 8, 1948 she was united in marriage to Arthur (Eugene) Wollam in Lone Tree, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on March 21, 2010. Deloris graduated from Revere with the class of 1947. She had been employed with Sheller Globe in Keokuk for twenty six years. Deloris was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Deloris expressed her love for her family, in many ways, but especially with her homemade cooking. She loved playing bingo, reading, completing puzzles, and she was an avid blue grass fan. She is survived by her children, Linda Wollam of Keokuk, Ed Wollam of Kahoka, Roger (Lee) Wollam of Mission Viejo, CA, and Margret (Hurl) Vreeland of Portsmouth, VA, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, brother in law, Walter Jobe, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, James Wollam and Clifford Wollam, Sr., three grandchildren, five sisters and two brothers. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., September 16, at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, MO. Burial was held in the Kahoka Cemetery. Visitation was held prior to the service from noon to 1 p.m. with the family meeting with friends at that time. Memorials may be made to the Care Building or donor's choice.
