Deborah Debbie Ann Vaughan, 63, of Keokuk, died Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA.
She was born on March 7, 1951 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Keokuk, the daughter of John and Marian Reed Scott. On August 9, 1969, Debbie was united in marriage to Arthur Vaughan, Jr. in Keokuk. He survives.
Other survivors include one son, Scott Vaughan and his wife Rachael of Warsaw, IL, one step-son, Joe Vaughan and his wife Pat of Ft. Madison, IA, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Debbie had been employed at Sheller Globe/BTR/Metzler/Henniges for thirty-eight years, retiring in 2010.
She was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Keokuk and an honorary member of Local 444 Steel Workers Union.
Debbie enjoyed collecting Thomas Kinkeade.
A Celebration of life memorial servicewas held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2015at theVigen Memorial Home with Pastors Tony Nye and Dave Barrett officiating.
Memorials may be made to her Grandchildrens Education Fund.
