Dean Terry Bradley, 91 of Montrose passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026 at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.

He was born March 8, 1935, in Argyle, Iowa, the son of Duane "Mutt" and Letha Berstler Bradley. He graduated from Argyle High School before proudly serving his country in the United States Marine Corps, from which he received an honorable discharge in 1957.

On November 9, 1961, he was united in marriage to Sharon Stockwell in Montrose. Together they shared more than sixty-four years of marriage.

Dean began his career with the Montrose Elevator before joining Iowa Telecom, where he worked as an installer for twenty-four years. Certified in fiber optics, he took great pride in his work and retired in 1994. Never one to stay still for long, Dean also enjoyed building trailers, putting his skills and craftsmanship to good use.

He was a faithful member of Keokuk Nazarene Church, where he was actively involved for many years. He enjoyed serving his church in a variety of ways and treasured the friendships and fellowship he found within his church family. He was also a dedicated volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and participated in numerous mission trips through the church, always willing to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed.

Dean enjoyed an active life and especially loved playing ball, golfing, bowling, and shooting pool. Dean also enjoyed stock car racing and building race cars, especially alongside his son, Tim. More than anything, Dean treasured the time he spent with his family and loved supporting them in all they did.

Dean is survived by his wife, Sharon Bradley; his three children, Tracy Gatton (Brent), Tammy Panther (Greg), and Tim Bradley (Billi Jo); his grandchildren, Zachary Gatton (Lydia), Zen Gatton (Jessica), Zeke Gatton (Andrea), Alex Panther (Alicia), Weston Panther (Sarah), Katelynn Behning (Brunson), Kennedy Gesell (Mike), Konnor Bradley, Kaden Bradley (Emily), Sadie Bell (Corbin), and Jake Hixson; his great-grandchildren, Rowan and Finley Gatton, Gigi Gatton, Barrett Panther, Brantley, Hudson and Ren Behning, Maverick, Banks, and Ellie Gesell, and Sophia Hixson; and his brother, David Bradley along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, great grandson, Jackson Dean Gatton and two brothers, Darrell Duane Bradley and Don Roger Bradley.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Keokuk Nazarene Church with Pastor Dana Jergens officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Montrose Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., two hours prior to the service, at the church, with the family receiving friends during that time.
