David Lee Jeffers, 69, of Keokuk, IA died Friday, December 17, 2010 at the VA Hospital in Iowa City, IA. He was born October 19, 1941 in Keokuk, IA the son of P.J. and Anna Hanson Jeffers. David graduated from Argyle High School in 1959. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, watching T.V., and playing on his computer. He was survived by his son Darold Jeffers and his wife Rita of Granite Falls, NC, two grandchildren, Cody Jeffers and Alisa Mosteller both of Granite Falls, NC, a sister Christine Strunk and her husband Lester of Donnellson, IA and a brother Williams Jeffers of Argyle, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec 21 at the Oakland-Sand Cemetery in Vincennes, IA with Dr. Jim Eads officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the family.
