David Lee Boudewyn

David "Lee" Boudewyn, 66, of Keokuk died Monday, July 3, 2017 at his home. He was born August 19, 1950 in Keokuk the son of Edward and Flora Mae Breitenbucher Boudewyn. Lee had been employed at Keokuk Steel Castings for many years. He liked spending time outdoors fishing. He also loved sitting on the river bank enjoying the view of the Mississippi River. He is survived by three daughters, Michelle Rhodes of Alexandria, MO, Tracy Long of Nauvoo, IL and Corra Burgess of Keokuk, one granddaughter, Shannon Desherlia, one great-grandson, Wyatt Miller, four sisters, Mary Weirather (Roland), Nan Brown, Rose Davis and Dorothy Jefferson (Dan) all of Keokuk, three step-children who he raised, Butch and Doug Rhodes and Julie Wixom all of Keokuk, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his significant other of twenty-four years, Betty Lou Rhodes, and one brother, Edward Charles Boudewyn. There will be no services at this time.
