Darlene Lucille Reinartz

Darlene Lucille Reinartz, 74, of Keokuk, IA died Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. She was born October 16, 1943 in Minneapolis, MN the daughter of Leo and Evelyn Marcus Cunningham. On February 8, 1964 she was united in marriage to James Reinartz in St. Paul, MN. He survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Pamela (Ron) Kiefert of Miami, FL and Julie Page of Keokuk, one son, Lonnie Reinartz of Cedar Rapids, IA, two granddaughters, Chrissy (Robert) Boecker of Panora, IA and Chelsie (Trent) Lovell of Keokuk, one grandson, James Kiefert of Portland, OR, seven great-grandchildren, Hannah, Bobby, Reilan, Weston, Skylee, Madison, Adalynn and with one more, Zion, on the way, and one sister, Marlene (Butch) Bogert of Sullivan, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents and one great-granddaughter. Darlene graduated from Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis, MN with the Class of 1961. She was a member of Keokuk Living Waters Assembly of God Church in Keokuk. Darlene had worked as a housekeeper through the years. She enjoyed spending time outdoors in her flower garden. She also liked to feed the birds and watch the hummingbirds. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Pastor Larry Wallingford officiating. Visitation were held prior to the service from 12:00 -2:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home with family meeting with friends at that time. A graveside service was held at 2 p.m., Friday at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Memorials may be made to the Living Waters Assembly of God Church in Keokuk, IA.
