Darlene Sue Havens Clark, 53, of Keokuk, died January 28, 2016 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk. She was born September 30, 1962 in California the daughter of Larry and Judy Havens. She was married to Monty Clark in 1995 and to this union two sons were born, Patrick and Austin. They later divorced. She was employed by Bridgeway in Keokuk and attended E-Free Church. Darlene loved her kids and everyone else's. Everyone called her mom. She was the sweetest woman you would ever meet. Darlene was very soft hearted and always wanted to help others. She opened her home to her children's friends and always made sure they were well fed. She is survived by two sons, Patrick (Marti) Clark of Keokuk and Austin Clark of LaGrange, her parents, Larry and Judy Havens of California, a brother, Shaun Havens of California, a sister, Kay Havens Gayler (Bill) of London, England, nieces and nephews, Christopher Havens, Therese Donaldson, Sherri Donaldson, Phillip Donaldson and Michael Donaldson, two great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and special friend Dennis Cook of Keokuk. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and a brother Curtis Havens. A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with Pastor Jed Linebaugh officiating. Memorials may be made to the family.
