Dane E. Moss, 78, of Hannibal, Missouri, formerly of Kahoka, MO, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at the Willow Care Center in Hannibal, Missouri. He was born November 16, 1928 in Unionville, Missouri, the son of Ernest and Bertha Mae Medlen Moss. Dane worked for Henkel Mills in Ft. Madison, Iowa. He is survived by one son, John Moss of Ft. Madison, IA, four daughters, Martha Andrews, of Walford, IA, Betty Jean Moss of Center Point, IA, Mary Etta Lange of Marion, IA and Laura Lynn Moss of Kirksville, MO, one sister, Osa Clay of Medill, MO, one brother, Forrest Moss and his wife Rovene of Kahoka, MO, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Lorene Jones, Faye Hill, Vada Heimer and twins, Vernie and Vern Moss in infancy, and one other brother, Roy Lee Moss in infancy. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 9, 2007 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, MO. Burial will be in the Kahoka City Cemetery, Kahoka, MO. Visitation will be held after 9:00 A.M. Friday February 9, 2007 with the family meeting with friends at 1:30 p.m. Friday until the time of service.
