Dale Allen Fox

Dale Allen Fox, 68, of Keokuk, IA, died Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Blessing Health Keokuk. He was born on September 23, 1953 in Keokuk, IA, the son of Marion Lee and Delores Louise Belt Fox. He was a graduate of Keokuk High School. He had been employed at Beck Oil Company in Keokuk Dale was a premier Keokuk historian and a valuable asset to the community as he shared his vast knowledge of the history of Keokuk. He created and administered the Historic Keokuk, Iowa Facebook page and also Down the Halls of Keokuk High School Facebook page. These pages had many followers who were eager to learn new historical facts and share memories. He is survived by one sister, Sharon Campbell of Moline, IL and other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Brenda Kaye Pennock and Janet Marie Fox. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk. Visitation for friends and family will be held prior to the service on December 1, from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
