Dakota Lee Stark, 32 of Williamstown, MO passed away Monday, December 23, 2024 at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in Ft. Madison, IA.

He was born July 15, 1992 in Memphis, MO the son of Travis and Cassie Burgess Stark.

Dakota was employed as a drywaller for several companies including Five Star Drywall.

He loved being outdoors especially exploring for arrowheads and hunting. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Gunner Stark, Rosa Stark, Jasper Stark, Dillinger Stark and Marshall Ellis, his mom, Cassie Whippie (Mike) of Keokuk and maternal grandma, Kathy Roberts of Kirksville, MO. He is also survived by his sister, Crystal Barnett (Casey) of St. Francisville, MO, a brother, Dusty Stark (Heather) of Kahoka, his nieces and nephews, Jaelynn, Aaliyah and Kellen Barnett and Khoal, Ariez and Etley Stark, his girlfriend, Philicity Tripp-Hathaway of Keokuk along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Travis Stark, paternal grandparents, Nyle Dean and Rosa Lee Cochenour Stark, his maternal grandpa, Danny Burgess and two uncles, Larry and Kevin Stark.

A gathering of remembrance was held from 5 -7 p.m. Friday, January 10 Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka with the family meeting with friends at that time.

Memorials may be made to the Cassie Whippie for final expenses.
