Cordie Ann McClain Felker, 74, of Keokuk, died December 6, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, IA.

She was born on August 16, 1948 in Savanah, TN, the daughter of Louis M. and Annie V. Peters Cook.

On May 16, 1995 Cordie was united in marriage to Ruby Earl Felker, Jr. in Knobel, AR. He survives.

Other survivors include seven daughters, Riva Weir of Keokuk, Leanne Oliver of Chillicothe, IL, Angila McClain of Keokuk, Heather Felker, Jamie Felker and Holly (Felker) Duncan all of East Peoria, IL and Jessica McClain of Keokuk, three sons, Mike McClain of Farmington, IL, Jeff McClain of Chillicothe, IL and Ruby Earl Felker III of Keokuk, her mother, Annie Cook of IL, twenty-three grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father, one brother, William Cook, and aunts and uncles.

Cordie enjoyed being a homemaker and making a wonderful home for her family. At one time she had been employed at the Peoria Journal Star in Peoria, IL.

She enjoyed watching westerns and spending time with her family. Her grandchildren and great-grand children were her pride and joy. Cordie loved God and she loved people.

There will be no services. Burial was in the Keokuk National Cemetery, Keokuk, IA.
