Christian Michael Gibbs, infant son of Steven and Carry Bennett Gibbs of Keokuk was born into heaven on Monday, October 19, 2015. From the moment Steven and Carry knew they were expecting they loved their baby and begin to have hopes and dreams for his life. But baby Christian came too early and was not able to sustain life here on this earth. Hopes and dreams became loving memories that will forever live on in the hearts of his family. Christian Michael will be forever remembered and cherished by his parents, Steven and Carry of Keokuk, one brother Ryan Huffman and one sister Leah Gibbs of the home, his maternal grandmother, Viola Ruffcorn of Carthage, IL, maternal grandfather Jason Knowles of Agency, IA, paternal grandmother Deanne Huston and husband Tim of Keokuk, paternal grandparents, Patrick and Carol Haage of Keokuk, maternal great-grandmother, Gertie Ruffcorn of Carthage, IL and paternal great-grandfather, Ernie Burchett of Keokuk. He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Michael Gibbs, Jr., his maternal great-grandfather Dale Ruffcorn, paternal great-grandmothers, Patricia Haage and Freda Burchett and his cousin, Jacob DeLozier. There will be no services.
