Cheryl Lynn Lamma, 40, of Keokuk, IA died on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL as the result of an auto accident. Cheryl was born on December 29, 1975 in San Antonio, TX the daughter of Charles and Phyllis Fairfield Gould. She was united in marriage to Jimmy Lamma on March 28, 1994 in Keokuk, IA. He survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Katherine Lamma and Samantha Ann Payne both of Keokuk, one son Jimmy Eugene Lamma, Jr., her mother Phyllis Gould of Keokuk, two sisters, Jeannette L. Kirkham of Rockport, TX, and Ora L. Miller and husband Woodrow of Keokuk, four brothers, Charles R. Gould, Jr of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Robert W. Gould of Ft. Madison, Clinton R. Gould of Rockport, TX, and Clifford R. Gould III of Minneapolis, MN, her mother –in- law, Nellie Lamma of Keokuk, brothers and sisters-in-law, William Lamma, Clarence Lamma & companion Ann, David Lamma and wife Betty, Charles Lamma & wife Heather, Carolyn Hendrickson, Edna Bailey & husband Aubrey, Sandra Hobb, Helen Lamma, and Janet Lamma and companion Joey, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces. She was preceded in death by her father, one sister, Jana L. Moore, and her grandparents. She was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Keokuk and enjoyed attending church services. Cheryl loved all kinds of animals and enjoyed raising and taking care of her chickens and ducks. She also enjoyed watching movies, especially Harry Potter, The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings and movies that featured talking animals. She also enjoyed reading. Cheryl's life revolved around her family and she spent her life making a wonderful home for her husband and children. A Celebration of Life was held at 10 a.m., Wednesda, May 26, 2016 y at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Keokuk with Pastor Dave Barrett officiating. Memorials may be made to the family.
