Cheryl Ann Anderson, 62, of Keokuk, IA, died Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA. She was born on November 7, 1946 in Keokuk, IA, the daughter of Gordon L. and Ida Evelyn Carter Hardy. On December 26, 1962, Cheryl was united in marriage to Arthur J. Anderson in Kahoka, MO. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2008. Cheryl was a loving and humble wife and mother. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters, Lori Patterson and DeeDee Anderson both of Keokuk, IA, one son, Tod Anderson of Keokuk, IA, five grandchildren, James Patterson, Jenny Anderson, Tate Anderson, Jake Skinner and Katie Skinner, one sister, Connie Hardy of Alna, ME, one brother, Jim Hardy of Tucson, AZ, four sisters-in-law, Elaine Draines of Keokuk, Anna Goetz and her husband Lyndell of Palmyra, MO, and Risa Langedal and her husband Rune of Keokuk, Lynn Hardy of Keokuk, four brothers-in-law, John Anderson of Keokuk, Donald Anderson and his wife Betty of Keokuk, Daniel Anderson and his wife Linda of Warsaw and William Anderson and his wife Ruthann of Keokuk and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Joseph Skinner, one brother Jerry Hardy and her parents. There will be no services. Memorials may be made to the Keokuk Area Group Home in Keokuk.
