Charles Harold Edmondson, 69, of Macon, MO formerly of Kahoka, MO died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Macon County Health Care Center in Macon, Missouri. He was born March 15, 1937 in Wayland, Missouri the son of Roy and Clara Wussler Edmondson. On August 8, 1960 he was united in marriage to Ruth Lorentzen in Keokuk, Iowa. She survives. Other survivors include three daughters Barbara Denise and her husband Ed of Kahoka, MO, Carla Ruth Kennedy of California, Gina Marie Riley and her husband Wayne of Colorado, Mary Jo Gorrell and her husband Bill of LaBelle, MO, one son John Charles and his wife Ann of Shelbina, MO, nine grandchildren Aaron Daw, Daniel Dayton Daw, Alicia Lynette Edmondson, Kayla Yenta Kennedy, Elizabeth Anne Kennedy, Sarah Lynn Riley, Luke Ethan Riley, Katie Nicole Riley, and Ean Jerrin Edmondson, a sister, Jane Cook Edmondson of Macon, MO and a brother in law, Ralph Lorentzen and his wife Sharon of Kahoka, MO. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Julie Ann and two sisters and his parents. Charles worked at CIPS in Quincy, IL for ten years and then at Weldon Tague in Gorin, MO for 15 years. He also farmed in Wyaconda, MO for 30 years. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. The most important thing in his life was his family. Services were held in Macon, MO. Burial will be in Frazee Cemetery at a later date.
