Obituary

Charles Shane Duncan, 56, Keokuk died Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Lexington Square in Keokuk. He was born September 15, 1958 in Keokuk the son of Charles Eugene and Dolores Irene Clark Duncan. Charles had been employed at IBP in Omaha, NB as a meat cutter and at B&B Tap for ten years. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing and hunting. He loved to shoot pool and was on several different leagues throughout the years. He is survived by two sons, Charles Shane Duncan, Jr. of Lake City, FL, and Robert (Bobby) Duncan of Keokuk, two daughters, Bonita "Nikki" Duncan of Keokuk and Pamela "P.J." (Daniel) Nelson of Keokuk, twelve grandchildren, Shane Reid, Jordan Harvey, Martin Reid, Elektra Lamma, Xaiver Lamma, Aiden Plowman, Chloe Plowman, Zayden Plowman , Zoey Nelson, Dalton Duncan & Chesnee Duncan and Nevaeh Malloy, one sister, Pam (Fred) Tibbits of Keokuk, one brother, Buster Owsley of Vero Beach, FL, one niece, Angela Nelson, one nephew, Richard Nelson and three great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service was held at 9 a.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk. Memorials may be made to KPlay/Bentley's Playground.
