Chance Michael James Jordan, infant son of Kayla Jones and Jeremiah Jordan, was born into Heaven at 3:35 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, IA. Chance touched all of our lives and will remain in our hearts forever. He will lovingly be remembered by his mommy and daddy, Kayla and Jeremiah of Des Moines, IA, his sister, Adilyn Rylee Jones of Des Moines, his brother, Tejian Jordan of Des Moines, his maternal grandparents David and Teri Jones of Keokuk, IA, his paternal grandparents, Althea Jordan of Des Moines, IA and Larry Jordan of California, his maternal great-grandparents, Dave and Pat Hocker of Keokuk, IA, several aunts and uncles including Leah Smith and her husband Jeremy of Grand Rapids, MI, several cousins including Chase and Ava Smith of Grand rapids, MI, and several great aunts, great-uncles. He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Irene and Simmie Jones. A Gathering of Remembrance was held on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with the family meeting with friends at that time. Memorials may be made to the family.
