Chad Daryl Smith, 44, of Kahoka, MO, died Monday, April 8, 2013 at the Keokuk Area Hospital. He was born on May 9, 1968, in Keokuk, Iowa the son of Herman and Edna Gregory Smith. He was united in marriage to Cindy Osbon in February of 1998 at the Trinity Worship Center in Kahoka. She survives. Chad was self employed woodworks man. He was a member of the Living Water Assembly of God in Keokuk. Chad loved spending time and doing activities with his son Ethan. He enjoyed going to Old Threshers to look at hot rods and tractors. He loved being outside and fishing. He was a talented woodworker and enjoyed building picnic tables, coat racks, and Adirondack chairs. He is survived by his wife Cindy Smith, his son Ethan Smith all of Kahoka, two sisters Virginia Glaha and her husband Bill, Linda Miller and her husband Larry, nine brothers Bill Smith, Ronnie Poole and his wife Trish, Donnie Poole and his wife Cece, Larry Poole, Charlie Smith and his wife Kelly, His twin brother Brad Smith, Bobby Poole, John Smith and his wife Kim, Roger Smith and his wife Tina, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Friday, April 12th, 2013 at the Kahoka Cemetery with Pastor Larry Wallingford officiating. There was no visitation. Memorials may be made to the family.
