Cathy Clinton Baker, 52 of Warsaw, IL died Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at her home. She was born on November 23, 1959 in Keokuk, IA, the daughter of Jim and Barb Milligan Clinton. On December 11, 2004, Cathy was united in marriage to Brian Baker at the First Christian Church of Keokuk. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Lindi Jones of Washington, IL, one son, Ken Jones based at Naval Station Mayport in Mayport, FL, her father, James Clinton of Warsaw, IL, one sister, Linda Wray and her husband Tom of Keokuk, IA, one brother, Dan Clinton and his wife Sandy of St. Patrick, MO one nephew, Clint Wray and his wife Nicole of Keokuk, IA, one niece Brandy Johnson and her husband Mike of Statesville, North Carolina and several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, one nephew, Todd Wray and her grandparents. Cathy graduated from Carl Sandberg College in Carthage, IL with highest honors. She was employed at the Carthage Veterinary Services. She was a member of First Christian Church of Keokuk, IA and Phi Beta Kappa. Cathy loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, fishing and shooting her rifle and bow. She especially loved spending time around her outside fireplace, feeding the squirrels and birds. She also enjoyed crocheting and watching NASCAR races. Cathy loved all animals and had a very special place in her heart for her faithful dogs, Jake, Kate & Lucy and her loving cat, Gypsy. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, with Reverend David Turner officiating. Burial was in the Sandusky Cemetery in Sandusky, IA. Memorials may be made to Blessing Hospice in Quincy, IL and Hugs of Hancock County.
