Catherine "Kitty" Marie Rhodes Marlin, 75, of Warsaw, IL, died Friday, November 28, 2008 at her home. She was born on February 18, 1933 in Licking, MO, the daughter of Orion and Catherine Davis Rhodes. She married Tommy Marlin on March 3, 1952 in Keokuk, IA. Kitty lived in Atlanta, GA from 1961 – 1978 and moved to Warsaw, IL in 1979. She had been employed as a CNA in several nursing homes and also worked in private home health care. She was of the Catholic Faith. itty loved to travel, play bingo and go to the casino. She enjoyed genealogy and spending time on the computer. She is survived by four sons, Nick Marlin of Atlanta, GA, Rick Marlin and his wife Susie of Warsaw, IL, Dan Marlin of Keokuk, IA, Tim Marlin and his wife Renee of Warsaw, IL, one daughter, Kathy Dunne and her husband Andy of Keokuk, IA, eighteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one sister, Ruth Gouner of Houma, LA and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Pat Marlin, one granddaughter, Elizabeth Marlin, and two sisters, Irene Irvin and Helen Shaffer. A Gathering of Remembrance for family and friends was held Tuesday, Dec. 2 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA Memorials may be made to the Lee County Hospice.
