Carla Marie (Kellum) McKune, 60, of Revere, MO, formerly of Keokuk, IA, died Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA. She was born on March 6, 1949 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of Delbert and Helen Varner Kellum. She had been employed at the Park Ridge Workshop in Montrose, IA. Carla enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She is survived by one daughter, Becky Anderson and her husband Bruce of Blue Earth, MN, three sons, Roy Dorsey of Keokuk, IA, Cheyenne McKune, and Curtis McKune of Warsaw, IL, eight grandchildren, Bo Anderson of Eau Claire, WI, Kali and Brady Anderson of Blue Earth, MN, Vaughn Dorsey of Keokuk, IA , Alex Zier of Wyaconda, MO, Alivia Dighton of Carthage, IL and Malachi and Micah McKune of Hamilton, IL , her mother, Helen Thorn of Keokuk, IA , her step-mother, Maxine Kellum of Keokuk, IA, one brother, Kevin Kellum and his wife Chris of Keokuk, IA, six sisters, Jane Moore and her husband Richard of Keokuk, IA, Delberta Sprague and her husband John of Grandview, MO, Brenda Cleveland of Keokuk, IA, Stephanie Davis and her husband Melvin of Keokuk, IA, Shelly Pagan of Wayland, MO and Sherry Duchholz of Independence, MO , a special friend, Terry White of Revere, MO, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Delbert Kellum and her step-father Hubert Thorn. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Reverend Bill Mitchell officiating. Burial was in the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Keokuk, IA.
