Bruce David Harris, 65 of Keokuk, IA passed away Friday, March 7, 2025 at the Memorial Hospital in Carthage, IL.

He was born on October 23, 1959 in Keokuk, IA the son of Joseph and Marilyn Fry Harris.

Bruce attended Keokuk High School and an electrical tech school. He proudly served in the United States Army in 1977.

He was married to Paula Riddle, they later divorced then on October 15, 2009 he was united in marriage to Cindy Jones in Keokuk. She survives

He is also survived by a son, Jeremy Harris of Keokuk, a brother Keith Harris (Tina) of Keokuk and a sister, Karen Hanley of Reed City, MI, two sisters-in-law, Pam Barber (Richie) of Warsaw and Kathy Knox of Keokuk and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a mother-in-law, Ruby Hallinan and three brothers-in-law, Joe Jones, Ike Jones and Bob Knox.

Bruce was employed at Keokuk Steel Castings as a finisher for eighteen years until his retirement.

He enjoyed playing pool, woodworking and looking for arrowheads. Most of all he enjoyed hanging out with his friends and going to rock concerts.

A gathering of remembrance was held from 2 - 4 p.m. Saturday, March 22 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk. A celebration of life will be held following the gathering at the Sneezy Beaver in Keokuk.
