Bruce Edward Egley, 64 of Keokuk, IA died Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA.         He was born June 1, 1948 in Keokuk, IA the son of Elmer and Nellie Baker Egley.  He was united in marriage to Dixie Marple in 1980 in Keokuk, IA.  They later divorced.       Bruce worked at Freuhauf in Ft. Madison, IA for over twenty years.       He was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Keokuk.      Bruce enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles and was always tinkering on a project.  He collected many record albums through the years.      He is survived by one daughter, Cesilee Egley of Keokuk, IA, one grandson, Deacon Burgess of Keokuk, IA, one granddaughter, Kaylee Burgess of Keokuk, IA, his father, Elmer Egley of Keokuk, IA, one aunt, Gertrude Egley of Keokuk, IA and many cousins.      He was preceded in death by his mother and one uncle, Gerald Egley.      A memorial service was held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Pastor Lester Dumer officiating.      There was no visitation.      Memorials may be made to his grandchildren's education.
