Brenda Danker, 63 of St. Patrick, MO died Sunday February 5, 2012 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. She was born February 19, 1948 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of Robert and Emma Boudreau Danker. Brenda attended the Clark County R-1 High School in Clark County, MO and the Benedictine College in Atchison, KS. She had been employed for the Keokuk Community School District as a teacher and also for the St. Louis, MO School System. She was a member of the Shrine of St. Patrick in St. Patrick, MO. Brenda enjoyed gardening in her free time. She is survived by her mother, Emma Danker of St. Patrick, MO, two brothers, David Danker and his wife Rosetta of Altenburg, MO and Greg Danker and his wife Susan of St. Louis, MO, two sisters, Becky Danker of Columbia, MO and Kathy Tripp and her husband Kevin of Luray, MO, nieces and nephews, Tim and Jennifer "JJ" Danker of Mission Hills, KS, Eric and Jennifer Danker of Santa Monica, CA, Rob Danker of St. Louis, MO, and Ben Tripp of Luray, MO, one niece, Tarisa Hodge of St. Charles, MO, two great nieces, Emery and Sophie Danker of Mission Hills, KS, two great nephews, Ethan and Maxwell Danker of Santa Monica, CA, nephews, Ian and Adam Hodge of St. Charles, MO, special family member, Nancy Uhlmeyer of Alexandria, MO, special friends, Mr. & Mrs. Chester Hays of Washington, MO and several aunts and uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, one sister, Barbara Danker Uhlmeyer, one brother-in-law, Ervin Uhlmeyer and her grandparents, Vincent and Bess Boudreau and Martin and Anna Danker. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 10, 2012 at the Shrine of St. Patrick in St. Patrick, MO with Father James Wheeler officiating. Burial was in the St. Patrick Cemetery in St. Patrick, MO. Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for medical and transportation expenses for oncology patients.
