Brenda Bawden, 66 of Hamilton, IL died Thursday, June 22, 2023 at her home.

She was born January 6, 1957 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of Kenneth Leroy and Marilyn Joy Mann Thomas. Brenda graduated from Keokuk High School with the class of 1975.

Brenda had been employed by Shaffer Pen for fourteen years and then was a stay at home mother. She later worked at the Nauvoo Cheese factory and then at Harnetiaux Farm & Home Supply until her retirement.

Brenda was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved Elvis. Brenda's family was the most important part of her life. She always thought of her family first and treasured the time she spent with them.

She is survived by two daughters, Kelee Bawden of Hamilton, IL and Kelsie Bawden of Hamilton, IL, three siblings, Bill Mann (Penny) of Ankeny, IA, Kenny Thomas (Angela) of Keokuk and Sherry Thomas (Jim) of Keokuk. She is also survived by ten nieces and nephews, Kim Pfaff (Sean), Bill Mann (Amber), Tori Thomas (Tom), Kevin Thomas (Andrea), Crystal Thomas, David Rogers, Daniel Rogers, Dusty Rogers, Dakota Rogers and Kassi Rogers and several great- nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Thomas.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
