View Video Tribute Bonnie Rudd, 65, of Keokuk, IA died Saturday, February 17, 2007 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on January 3, 1942 the daughter of Leroy O. and Dorothy M. Hamilton Graf. Bonnie was first married to Robert Lambert in 1959 in Keokuk, IA and they later divorced. She then was united in marriage to Russell Rudd on June 13, 1987 in Keokuk, IA. She is survived by a loving and caring husband of 20 years, Russell Rudd of Keokuk, IA, one daughter, Pam Markey and her husband John of Dallas City, IL, two sons, David Lambert and his wife Casey of Burlington, IA, and Danny Lambert and his wife Justine of Keokuk, IA, three step-sons, Travis Rudd and his wife Karen of Montrose, IA, Eric Rudd and his wife Janet of Washington, MO, and Jason Rudd of Montrose, IA, her only sister, Connie Brown and her husband James "Butch" of Ft. Madison, IA, her step-father, John Scovern of Kahoka, MO, one step-sister, Diane Barnett of Hamilton, IL, two step- brothers, Terry Scovern of Springfield, IL, and Jerry Scovern of South Carolina, 21 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a special uncle, Charles Hamilton and his wife Gloria of Mission, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Robert Drew Lambert and one step son, Chad Rudd. She was employed by the Dial Corporation in Ft. Madison, IA for 17 years and was also the owner and operator of Lambert's Wallpaper and Paint Business in Keokuk, IA until her retirement in 1993. Bonnie attended the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Keokuk, IA. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed quilting and cross stitch. She enjoyed antiquing, going to garage sales, and doing all kinds of crafts. She was very proud of her Fiesta Ware that she collected. Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Wednesday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Rev. Dave Barrett officiating. Burial was in the Keokuk National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
